Be The Rainbow is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating love, self-affirmation, dignity, equality, and increased visibility for the LGBTQ+ community. Founded by friends committed to making Port Washington a more inclusive place, we have grown into the leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in our area.
This year, our Pride Walk & Festival will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM. The walk kicks off at Bay Walk Park and concludes at the John Philip Sousa Memorial Bandshell, where we’ll celebrate with live LGBTQ+ entertainment, craft stations hosted by community partners, and more!
Join us the evening before, Friday, June 13, from 4:00-7:00 PM, for "Chalk the Walk" at Bay Walk Park. Help us fill the path with vibrant, affirming artwork as we set the stage for an unforgettable Pride Weekend.
